The Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska held a series of utility safety roundtable discussions in June at four locations in Nebraska.
Sessions were held in Lincoln, West Point, Gering and Imperial and provided an opportunity for utilities to share insights on best practices, equipment and operational safety, field practices and procedures and utility safety challenges. Special thanks to vendors Border States Electric, Western United Electric Supply and West Point for providing lunch.
“The goal of these sessions was to provide a beneficial informal forum for neighboring utilities to network and discuss safety practices and share insights," said Bruce Doll, director of utility services and member relations. "I appreciate all the utilities that participated in these sessions.”
