Provide leadership and guidance for all aspects of the Utilities Department operations, including hiring staff, planning, and directing the activities and operations of the electric, gas, sewer, and water utilities; provide direct supervision to the Utility Departments – Administration, Electric Production, Operations, Capital Management and Safety. Provide indirect supervision to support staffs including Engineering, Environmental, Purchasing and Public Information; coordinate and collaborate activities with other City departments and outside agencies; and provide policy, technical and administrative support to the Mayor, City Council, through the City Administrator. 

Qualifications: Ten years of increasingly responsible experience in utility operations, including seven years of administrative and supervisory responsibility. A bachelor’s degree in business administration (or related fields of Accounting, Finance, Economics) or Engineering or a related field is required. A master’s degree in business administration or related advanced degree is a plus.
