The City of Pierce, Neb., seeks a full-time assistant to help within the Electrical Department. Under the direction of the electric superintendent, this person is responsible for assisting with the operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of the City of Pierce electrical system. This person must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including responding to outages and be on call for after hours and weekend outages and emergencies. This person will be required to work with the other city departments when needed. Applicants must also possess or be able to obtain a CDL licensed within six months of hire. It is required that the applicant has completed some college level courses in utility line work and/or has some work experience in utility line work.
