The Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska held its annual series of electric utility training sessions on a variety of topics at two locations (Broken Bow and Lincoln) in Nebraska Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
Utility crews from Holdrege, Callaway, Ansley, Stuart, Curtis, Trenton, Ord, Broken Bow, Syracuse, Falls City and Pender participated in the sessions. These training sessions help to sharpen skills, strengthen safety practices and build stronger connections across public power communities.
Topics included mutual aid, smart metering, transformer connections and overhead line construction, regulator training and safety in the field.
