The City Council of Minden, Neb., recently approved using their ACE distribution funds to help build a new park shelter at Chautauqua Park.
Earlier this year the City of Minden received more than $6,800 from ACE’s revenue distribution program as part of ACE’s overall distribution of $400,000 to ACE member communities. Overall, Minden has received more than $74,000 in ACE distribution funds as ACE has returned more than $4 million to its Nebraska member communities for community improvement projects since its formation in 1998.
In previous years, the City used their ACE funds for city park equipment and a new baseball pitching machine.
