The Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska is holding a free Line Clearance Tree Pruning Training on April 9 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Pierce, Neb., Fire Hall.
The training session will include classroom training and field work and is geared toward lineworkers from municipal utilities in northeast Nebraska but is open to all municipal utilities.
The session will be led by Chip Murrow, urban forestry specialist at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The session is limited so early registration is encouraged. Registration deadline is Thursday, April 2. Lunch will be provided.
