Major Duties: This is routine work in the performance of labor in the electrical operations. This employee works in any area that needs him/her. 

Examples of Work: This person would be responsible for the care, maintenance, of all electrical systems. This person needs to be able to read water and electric meters accurately. Be responsible for trimming trees around power lines, checking and testing substation equipment, be responsible for electrical line construction and perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. This person must also be able to install, maintain and repair primary and secondary electrical lines, do work of overhead and underground electrical lines and auxiliary equipment.

Additional Duties: Include but not limited to alternating weekends for on call emergencies with other employees and report and maintain records as needed. 

Qualifications: Education or experience is sufficient to enable the individual to perform the duties and meet the knowledge, skills and abilities required. Ability to follow written and verbal communication is also necessary. Must reside within a 15-minute response area.
