ACE unveils new website, rebranding effort

ACE (Public Alliance for Community Energy) recently launched its new community-focused website redesign and rebranding initiative as it prepares for the newly expanded Nebraska Choice Gas selection period that starts March 18 and runs through April 22.ACE home page screenshot

The website ( is mobile friendly, allowing for intuitive viewing on mobile devices and tablets and will incorporate Choice Gas price quotes and selection capabilities for retail and commercial customers that want to lock in pricing and a rate option online.

“We want to make the customer experience on our website second to none,” said Beth Ackland, ACE director of gas operations. “We also want to relay important information about the Choice Gas program and ACE’s community-focused efforts as the only community-owned supplier in the selection period. ACE is a unique gas supplier in the Choice Gas program and the website will help us deliver that message to customers.”

The 2021 Choice Gas selection period includes significant changes from previous years, with the most notable change being the expanded selection period from two-weeks to five weeks. ACE’s website will better handle the demands of the extended selection period with improved efficiencies and pricing response for retail and commercial customers.

The modern looking site includes video testimonies from ACE representatives, a section of Frequently Asked Questions regarding the Choice Gas program, a video library on a variety of ACE related topics and the latest ACE news. Extensive work on the backend of the website was completed to integrate customer pricing.

The site was developed jointly by Unanimous, a marketing and web development agency located in Lincoln, Neb., and in-house staff. The website also includes the new modern-looking ACE logo that incorporates a forward-looking image with an emphasis on ACE’s community focus.
