ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, launched its redesigned, customer friendly Web site in February.
The new site goes along with ACE’s existing Facebook and Twitter accounts to offer natural gas resources and an online place to gather for customers in the Nebraska Choice Gas program.
Through the site (www.ACEenergy.org), ACE shares success stories from its 71 Nebraska member communities, links to natural gas resources for weatherization and efficiency tips, an overview of the program, information on pricing options, a section on frequently asked questions and more information pertaining to the program, including the upcoming two-week selection period set for April 16-29.
The only community-owned and not-for-profit natural gas supplier in the Choice Gas program began participating on social media sites Facebook and Twitter a few months ago and has nearly 200 followers.
“Social media is another avenue for ACE to reach and educate customers,” said Beth Ackland, ACE retail gas services coordinator. “ACE has always been an advocate for all natural gas users in the Choice Gas program and this is another way for us to serve customers.”
