2019 Typical Bill Survey is completed

The Nebraska Municipal Power Pool (NMPP) recently completed its annual Typical Bill Survey for participating utilities from around the region, including members and non-members.

Brad Hans named Director of Wholesale Electric Operations

NMPP Energy Executive Director Bob Poehling in January announced Brad Hans as the new director of wholesale electric operations for the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska. He takes over for Tim Sutherland, who recently announced his plans to retire in March after a 28-year career with the NMPP Energy organizations.

MEAN Board approves resolution on vision for carbon neutrality by 2050

The Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska (MEAN) Board of Directors at its board meeting on Jan. 23 in Kearney, Neb., approved a resolution laying out a vision to a carbon neutral power resource portfolio by 2050.
