The City of Broken Bow, Neb., will be accepting bids for all of the necessary equipment to ensure 4 engines in the Broken Bow Power Plant conform to EPA Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) regulations, subpart ZZZZ. The RICE regulations require the installation of catalytic converters, closed crankcase ventilation, and emission monitoring equipment. Bids should include all equipment and labor for the installation of the required equipment. Bids will be accepted Nov. 7 2011 until 5 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2012. Bids will be reviewed during the regular meeting of the Broken Bow Utility Board on Jan. 24, 2012. The City of Broken Bow reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
